Hi there! I’m Kjeld!
Welcome to my website, my creative space where I share my photography and the things that inspire me. I’m Dutch, born and raised in Amersfoort (the same city as Mondriaan), and photography has become a big part of how I see and explore the world.
I enjoy capturing both cityscapes and landscapes, especially in low-light moments. That often means heading out early in the morning or late at night, exploring new places and chasing the right light.

During the day, I work in the software industry at Auditdata, where we build solutions for hearing healthcare. 🦻 I enjoy using a mix of technical skills and business thinking to solve complex problems.
I also care about making a positive impact beyond work. Since 2017, I’ve been involved with the Cork Cycling Campaign, working to improve cycling safety in Cork for everyone. 🚴♂️
Drawing on my experience cycling in the Netherlands and Denmark, I volunteer to help make streets safer and more accessible. Alongside this, I take on freelance projects in urban design, data, and traffic through Studio Van den Heuvel.
In my free time, I’m learning Danish and I hold a Master’s degree in Managing People, Knowledge, and Change from Lund University.
I enjoy meeting new people and having conversations about all sorts of topics, from art and ideas to hearing healthcare and cycling.
